Congratulations! Now that your student has enrolled at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Community College, you too are part of our community. At ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´, we believe in building strong partnerships with families and friends to support your student’s success. We understand that when families are well-informed, students thrive. Our goal is to provide you with the resources and information you need to help your student have a successful college experience.

Family & Friends Experience

As a family member or friend of a new ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ student, you're a part of the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ community! Our Family Orientation program is designed specifically for parents, guardians, spouses, and other supportive individuals. The program provides valuable information to help you support your student’s success at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´, introduces you to key resources available on campus, and gives you a chance to meet people who work directly with students.

Family & Friends Orientation Events

Our Family & Friends Orientation is an excellent opportunity to learn more about your student’s experience at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´. The program covers a wide range of topics, including:

  • Inside the Classroom: Understanding the academic experience
  • Outside the Classroom: Campus life and student support services
  • Virtual Campus Supports: Resources available online for student success
  • Administrative Services: Important information about registration, financial aid, and more

This is also the perfect opportunity to ask questions and take a guided campus tour.

The Family & Friends Orientation is designed for parents, spouses, or other adult family members. We kindly ask that you do not bring young children to the event to ensure a focused experience for all participants.

Join Us for Family Orientation at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´!

Our Family Orientation is a separate, optional program designed for parents, guardians, spouses, or other supportive family members of new ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ students.

This program will:

  • Offer advice on how to best support your student throughout their college journey
  • Introduce you to key ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ staff and resources dedicated to student success
  • Provide an opportunity to ask questions and connect with other families

This program is designed for adult family members. We kindly ask that you do not bring young children to the event.
